I want to conquer this world for you, Jesus. Please teach me how.
What do you think? If a man has a hundred sheep, and one of them has gone astray, does he not leave the ninety-nine on the mountains and go in search of the one that went astray? (Matthew 18:12)
God the Father is the happy Shepherd who is joyful about seeking after his wandering sheep. He lovingly embraces the sheep and carries her back to safety.
God isn’t irritated by my irritating ways. He acts lovingly towards me. He wants me to value others the way he does–embracing them with a loving heart. This awe-inspiring love causes me to repent of my tendency to gossip and complain.
Father, I need your amazing grace when I am irritating.
Jesus, fill me with love for others and help me to demonstrate your love as you have unconditionally loved me.
Spirit of God, you are moving in the hearts of your people. You are the great river of God’s divine love who is conquering the world for Jesus! Thank you for using irritating, but greatly loved, people like myself for your kingdom’s purpose.
